With ICANN Reveal Day on 7 October 2026, it is now official: tldbox has applied for the new gTLD Program: Round 2026 for the top-level domains .salzburg, .verein, and .coaching. Three distinct namespaces, each backed by clear ideas and visions, as well as experts who know what it takes to operate a TLD securely and reliably in the long term.

A network that ensures security
The development and successful operation of new gTLDs is familiar territory for tldbox. The Austria-based company already operates its own gTLD, .versicherung. In addition, tldbox serves as a registry service provider for .berlin and .hamburg, among others. The team’s experience therefore ranges from geographic TLDs to specialised namespaces for clearly defined industries.
